I've been dealing with bad breath since a very long time. I got my teeth cleaned a few months ago. I brush twice a day, floss regularly, scrape my tongue so I don't think it's related to my hygiene since I take good care of my oral hygiene. Also I eat healthy and nutrionist meals so it's not a gut issue either. Since a few months I've noticed people covering their noses even when my mouth is close so this made me realize that the smell is coming from the nose as well. I suffer from dust allergies and allergy to strong smells so I think the bad breath is due to some sinus issue.

I think you should do a test by pinching your nose and exhaling through your mouth and then closing your mouth and blowing through your nose to see if there is any difference if it is from the nose then there can be different causes like sinusitis, nasal dripping, nasal foreign bodies or even dry nasal passages. Also there is a condition known as Phantosmia in which you perceive a smell which isn't there.
