Asking For Self, Female 28, Mirpur Khas
Hello, I am 28 F and I have never been to a dentist. I have had bleeding gums for years now, I couldn't get treatment because of bad advice, dentist phobia and embarrassment. It's been almost 9 years and I'm worried that my gum disease has progressed significantly. I have gum recession on my lower front teeth and the gap between my lower front teeth has increased alot. I am planning to get help but is it too late for me? Are my teeth saveable? Will my teeth become loose if I get scaling? What could be done for my gap?
Hello there is no any issue regarding your fear of tooth disease. Just visit my clinic its not late It will b clear at any age and I will definitely clear all of ur dental problems.
get your scaling done asap
you must consult a periodontist asap
scaling is a must. Without that this condition will only worsen.. after that wait for 3-6 months maintain good oral hygiene if there’s no tooth mobility we can close space using braces or aligners.. if condition remains same even after scaling gingivoplasty could be an option
Asalam u alikum......you should visit a dentist......you should not delay your treatment.....agr mazeed delay karain g to teeth mobile (hilna start) hu jain ga...or khali scaling mat krwana....i advice you to have gum treatment......i at my clinic offer gum treatment (which include medicine application and then quadrant wise scaling in 5 visits and then polishing....almost 7 days treatment )...
it prevents loosening of teeth due to scaling because medicine which i apply makes teeth strong by making gums healthy....and stops bleeding
scaling is necessary. even I get it done (It does not cause loosening of teeth) but if the plague accumulated over the tooth is in huge amount and when that is removed obviously it was supporting tooth (In a harmful way) when it's removed then tooth becomes a little loose, but that is not your case. with proper care and hygiene the gums grow and support the tooth
you need scaling and polishing. And good diet which has greater amount of vit c and vit D (milk tomato orange). Further mobility can be controlled by placing splints on the inner surface (lingual) side of the teeth. And to minimoze more recession, try to brush softly with soft brush. avoid hard brushing
u need to have scaling
u can visit me at nasim dental clinic north karachi
which city are you in? while you need scaling and root planing, you might also need to visit a periodontist.

I went to the dentist and I'm scheduled for scaling on Tuesday. he never ordered xray, he said he can tell from looking that I have 60-70% bone loss and my front teeth are a lost cause. is just a simple scaling enough?
