Please visit a Dentist urgently. Do not take unnecessary medications as it can be solved with antibiotics only by providing timely treatment which can be decided after evaluation of tooth (root canal or extraction) alongwith it.
only medicine will not help. You have to get the tooth treated properly.
if dentist advice you only flagyl no other treatment then change your dentist this tooth need treatment like pulpotomy or pulpectomy depending on age and development of tooth

The pus needs to be drained first and then pulpotomy or pulpectomy followed by antibiotics with flagyl. Only flagyl must be prescribed by a quack, not by a dentist. You must visit a qualified dentist who can handle kids for proper treatment.
