sometimes but not always
no grinding is required in partial denture. if someone is doing this then denture is not made according to bite.
if there is need of grinding so partial denture need to be adjusted not the natural teeth

If there is any adjustment problem in bite then it’s needed to trim your partial denture’s teeth not natural ones

Yes, little grinding(cutting) will be required if there are undercuts, to help in achieving single path of insertion
