Asking for Mother, Female, 58 years old, Gujranwala
Hi Good evening. She is diabetic and hypertensive patient since 13 years, she is feeling pain in right side at the end of teeth just we called it(akal dhar) This teeth is empty and much painful now a days. So what should be filling better or removing..!
hi please vsit your nearby dentist and get extraction(removal) of the tooth
please share photo and radiographs
removing is better
for pain take ansaid 100 mg
do fasting or random blood sugar and check blood pressure before extraction
Get it extracted. Hba1c is must before extraction.
Extraction of wisdom tooth is better , give her Medication first , Do suger test and do Visit near by doctors
Filling is advised after evaluation of the remaining tooth structure. If the pain is coming from wisdom tooth only and there is no structure left its better to get it extracted
extraction of this teeth is better after maintaining diabetes.so that healing will b faster.
Hi.
As wisdom teeth has no role in biting we preferably remove it if it causes pain. if she is feeling pain then most probably it will go for an RCT not a filling so its better to go for extraction.
If her blood sugar levels are normal then there will be no problem in extraction.
If there is no tooth structure remaining then extraction is better but before extraction do evaluate sugar and bp levels .They should be in normal range
Extract the wisdom tooth if it is a cause of pain but diabeties and hypertensive must be maintained....
If she has pain in her wisdom tooth ( akal dar), we have to remove/ectract it... filling will even worsen the pain and can cause swelling.... There is no other option except to remove the tooth.... For that you have to first take an antibiotic course and painkillers for atleast 5 days so that all the pus and infection subside and she would go through a painfree extration/removal. Also get your OPG xray done from nearby hospital or Lab.... Meanwhile monitor your BP and Sugar level and get an appointment from your nearby Dentist after taking atleast 3 days of antibiotic course. Thankyou
Best option is to remove the akal dhar but by a qualified dentist
dotn worry many wisdom tooth get painful and are impacted in bon not visbile in mouth ..
kindly get proper evaluation, xray and u might need to get it remove Asap before it leads to more trouble
get it extracted
if its non restorable, then get rid of it, get it extracted as soon as possible as it's a source of infection and infections become hard to treat in diabetics some times
When the BP & Glucose level is in normal range, it is better to get it extracted.
