Does thumb sucking as an adult have bad side effects? Besides crooked teeth, i can deal with that. I was in a habit of thumb sucking when i was 18,19 but then i stopped now ive started again. With age will this have a bad effect on my oral health? Or can i continue. Plz guide

Dear patient if u r resident of Islamabad I would like to c u
mashAllah at the age of 21 u can obviously give up habit
if u had stopped it once u can always stop it again
aesthetics is a concern for which u mentioned patient is not bothered but apart from that there are other issues as well
number of them......
I would like to c a patient for the amount of damage already been done
also there are habit breaking appliances for the patients which can help patient get over with the habit.
I would strongly recommend to stop the habit ASAP
