How to get rid of stains on teeth without scaling??? Also, I've got spaces in my lower teeth how do I get rid of that too??? Is braces the only option??
U have to undergo scaling to remove them first. After that u can take care of your oral hygiene to maintain them healthy n stainless. And yes for spacing braces is the only option.

if minor n light stains v may go for just polishing instead of scaling
for minor spaces some appliances are available too
It is possible to remove stains without scaling .
I only do scaling in those cases where calculus( tartar) is present .
In stains only i use abrasives polishing paste .
So you can contact marham team for appointment .
If the teeth are in alignment but issue is only the space ..we can built the space up by veneer .
But if alignment is also disturbed along with space ..then braces is only option .
We have three types of braces available ..
Cosmetic (Aligners) which are invisible sheets .
And the other ones are metallic and ceramic braces ..

I have calculus on teeth and the space is that wide that I can insert my nail in it...it isn't too much....is the spacing due to tartar???

Yes the calculus ie also a cause of spacing .
Jaw growth / gum disease/ genetics and some habits are predominant factor of spacing .
If you have calculus on gum line ..then iam afraid we will have to use scaler machine to dig it out .
If you have machine phobia ..then manual scaling using probes is an alternate .

Greetings. Firstly, stains are generally if 2 types, internal and external. In case of external staining, which are more common, they're usually due to excessive tea, coffee intake etc or Smoking, pan, chalia etc. They can be conviniently dealt with routine scaling, polishing and oral hygiene Maintainence.
Secondly, spaces between the teeth can be due to by birth or acquired reasons. Its difficult to advice the treatment with such vague information. Proper history and clinical evaluation is needed.
Stains need to find out if these are internal or external satins .... external can be removed by tooth brushing and polishing of teeth, where as internal stains can be removed by tooth bleaching ... Better to check with your local dentist for stains and teeth spacing
it depends. external stains can be removed by scaling.or internal stains require other treatments. clinical picture is more important for proper diagnosis and treatment planning.
