I have a constant itchy and inflamed sensation right here (MARKED BY THE ARROW). It’s very sensitive to cold and pressure, and I feel a throbbing pain here.
I’ve been chewing heavy mastic gum 3 times a day for 10 days to treat H. pylori. I think the heavy pressure may have impacted tartar or debris deep into my gum pockets.
I’ve had a tooth pulled before, and I’m very anxious about losing another one. Should I get the pocket depths checked and see if a deep cleaning (scaling) will resolve the inflammation?
