Asking For Mother, Female 55, bwp
Dear Doctors,
My mother is diagnosed with i. Diabetes & Hypertension (20 years) ii. Hyperthyroidism (5 years) taking insulin and medications like Diampa and Vilget-M also others like Extor and Neomercazole. She has a long-standing habit of sweetening her early morning tea with sugar. When we attempt to intervene, she either becomes upset or resorts to secretly drinking sweetened tea.
Given her diabetic management, we're concerned about the potential health risks associated with her continued sugar intake. Therefore, we humbly seek your guidance on whether there are any commercially available sugar substitutes suitable for diabetics that could be used to sweeten her tea without raising sugar levels and destroying her overall health. Our primary goal is to help her satisfy her tea habit without compromising her health.
Your Kind Response will be deeply appreciated.
Stop using sugar and be on fruit sugar and guur and honey

Please relax. Regularly monitor. minor use of sweetener is not of concern. minor use off and on is no concern.
Please take care
Use any herbal/artificial sweetener like Candrel, sweetex, steviana etc.
Stevia and Canderel are great alternatives for sugar. You can use in any form like tablets or powder. And they taste exactly like sugar. This will satisfy her craving as well.
