Talk to Diabetologist on Diabetes/pregnancy

Hey can you post this Anonymously for me in marham? I recently got diagnosed with diabetes n I found that I am pregnant too. My doctor gave me glucophage three times a day ( 500mg+500mg +1g) but my fasting was between 117-120. Now I am three months pregnant n she says your fasting should be under 100 n she told me to start with 4units of insulin n I am super scared. Yesterday i took my 1st shot of insulin n today my fasting was 112 Is it that bad? Like is it necessary to go for insulin? I need a second opinion on this.
