My mamo has diabeteic foot ulcer problem from last year till now but it doesn't heal . Now today Dr advised to do x-ray when x-ray report is observed Dr said that right now is damaged and it's surgical removal is must . is there any treatment to treat this not removed or it's removal is good . plz give me suggestions what to do

the infection has damaged the bone of big toe ( Osteomyelitis ), it is better to get it removed surgically to stop further progress /damage.
It means the infection reached to bone - Osteomyelitis. So surgeon may decide removal. Better to consult diabetic foot specialist
