Asking for Self, Female, 18 years old, Royal Residency Nawabpur Road
I have been diagnosed a Type 2 , diabetic patient. My weight is 49-50 kg, and height 5'-1/2". I am on insoline 20/14 units, Morning/Night. A friend asked me to consult with a Nutritionist to get help in treatment. It can be treated permanently with diet by a Nutritionist. Is it possible? Can you do it ?

you are too young n lean to be diagnosed as Type 2 . you are on Insulin to control your SUGAR.
In my humble opinion plz check your FASTING INSULIN again.
you could be Type 1DDM.
in that case
It will be fatal for you to stop Insulin n go for diet / exercise Only.
get your complete profile done agin with FASTING Insulin.

in my opimion u could be misdiagnosed.u r lean and young. u may need to re visit a diabetologist for confirmation of diagnosis.However a nutritionist can help u either ways.You may have a good control with dietary advice and treatment but there is nothing like permanent cure.
