My fasting and Random Suger is always normal even sometimes below normal but HBA1C is about 6.5. Why HBA1C is on higher side when fasting and random suger is always nornal?

It really depends upon your post meal readings, if there is significant spike of blood glucose more than 180mg/dl after 2 hours of meals it will reflect on your hbA1c. 6.5% means on average your sugar level are around 180-200 post meals. You may want to change your diet to low carb high protein diet and do physical activity within 1st two hours after meals to bring down insulin resistance and keep post meal readings in check

fasting and random blood sugar I just like static image taken by camera. this results actually shows the blood sugar level at a particular time. your high level of Hba1c suggest that your blood sugar is fluctuating during different timings when you are not recording. please consult endocrinologist for the workup
