Talk to Diabetologist on Foot Infection Or Blisters – Diabetes Case
Asking For Mother, Male 42, Karachi
Assalamualaikum, My mother has been having foot pain for over a month. She is diabetic and has high blood pressure. Some daane (blister-like spots) have appeared on her foot, and the pain is getting worse.
We tried using turmeric paste and soaking her foot in hot water with tree leaves, but nothing is improving.
Kindly guide us on what this condition might be and what treatment or doctor she should consult.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother's condition. Diabetic Foot Blisters: People with diabetes are prone to developing blisters and sores due to poor circulation, nerve damage (neuropathy), and high blood sugar levels. These blisters can become infected easily and may not heal quickly.
Diabetic foot problems can progress rapidly and may lead to severe complications, including ulcers, deep infections, and, in extreme cases, the risk of amputation if not treated early.
Home remedies like turmeric paste or soaking the foot are not sufficient and may even increase the risk of infection if the skin is broken.
Your mother’s symptoms are concerning and require urgent medical evaluation by a diabetologist. Do not rely on home remedies. Early treatment can prevent serious complications.

this is severe infection,start tab moxiget 400 mg one daily and tab augmentin 625mg 1+1+1.share her hbA1c, fasting and random sugar levels, fasting lipid profile,cbc, creatinine,uric acid and urine dr and sgpt.
