Asking For Mother, Female 55, karachi
my mother is diabetic, she had ankle fracture almost 1 year ago, she have recently develop one leg swollen, when its massaged shes bit relax but leg is swellen from knee till feet please advise what could be the case, what medicine or test ultrasound us needed, how can this be treated, i prefer non surgical weight 95 kg thanks

ULTRASOUND DOPPLER RIGHT LEG
Color and Doppler duplex scan of the right leg was done.
Femoral, popliteal, anterior tibial, posterior tibial and dorsalis pedis vessels were
examined.
Arterial flow seen normal triphasic wave form with normal velocity.
Soft tissue edema noted along the right calf and right ankle joint.
Soft echogenic material seen in right popliteal vein partially blocking the lumen of
the vein with increased diameter and increased flow seen in superficial veins.
A right popliteal cyst with posterior enhancement noted. It is measuring 2.6 x 1.3
cm.
