Did your consultant advice bifocal(multi focal)Lens ? Bifocal lenses are expensive and adaptation to bifocal lenses is another issue to patient. In glaucoma contrast sensitivity is reduced, Multifocal lenses cause reduced contrast sensitivity. In my opinion you would go for mono-focal lens .
