cataract is caused by DM .
get her HbA1c level checked and start her treatment to control her DM.
cataract surgery can be done on elective basis ,its not emergency.

Controlling diabetis and blood pressure is of paramount importance before cataract surgery not only for your eye health but also for your general health. First of all control ur diabetic, bp and then start cinneria eye drop.
