I have anxiety problem from past 1 year Now from 7 months my blood pressure is also little high is 145/80 with pulse in 90s im using atenolol 25 mg for 6 months Now doctor switch me to nebil 2.5 i used 3 weeks now bp is normal but also have side effects are nervousness, and low energy now dr said use bisoprolol 2.5 ?
I see many people in my family who is using bisoprolol but they are 50+ and also cardiac patients so does it will be ok for me to use bisoprolol at 24 age or what long term side effects would i get in future.
My ecg, ett, and thyroid test is perfectly normal.
Some people said beta blocker causes diabetes and high cholesterol level ?
Its a request to all dear cardiologist please give a detailed answer of all these question
If you have anxiety then treat it. Your Bp may come back to normal too with no medication. I hope you already are in loop with a Clinical psychologist. If not you must. Telling you with personal experience. Tachycardia(fast heart beat) and anxiety related high BP can come back to normal too.
