Talk to Gynecologist on Anembryonic Pregnancy
Asking For Self, Female, 28 Years old, karachi
I’m 9 weeks 4 days pregnant according to my LMP which is 21st May but current ultrasound shows 6 weeks. Gestational sac is present but baby didn’t grow no embryo present inside the sac it seems empty. Doc. told me the possibilities of blighted ovum and told me about DnC. I don’t know what to do next? Should i continue the pregnancy? Or consult for the DnC?

Sac size is smaller to go for termination. Do scan in two weeks and see.
AOA, yes for now you can continue till 2weeks then repeat scan, be alert for any symptoms of bleeding,pain and discharge go to hospital if any of these symptoms appear.

actually we always think in a way of mistaken dates and late conceive then the periods date so waiting for 20 days to 2weeks is Mandatory to let it confirm miscarriage if no any further improvement and if dates confirm like you have gone through scan but later on no progress then there is very less chance like your it's very small chance but you should wait.
