Talk to Gynecologist on Copper Iud And Complications

I had copper iud inserted last year July 2019,I had bleeding for a week and then after a week I had my periods and I visited gynecologist to ensure the position of iud and to make sure bleeding is normal,she prescribed Transamine and ponston forte,I had my regular periods after that and i had to travel to US.i didn't have any check-up for an year,but I had always abnoramal discharge(strings, but coloured red brownish before and after periods).now in Ramzan I didn't have periods but spotting and strings for 4-5 month it's again like that but it prolonged and made me weak.i visited gynecologist here,she checked my iud and said it's in it's place but she will have to do an ultrasound and also suggested that I should remove it if it's causing me discomfort.i am confused it's my 11th day of periods,I didn't have normal periods but spotting and strings.i still have blood strings in my urine.i am confused whether to go for an Ultrasound and get it removed or it's normal and I should
