my friend has a regular cycle of 28 days. her last day of period was 1st Jan and had unprotected sex on 2nd Jan and took the ecp on the same day. she had her periods on 7th Jan and then had to take the ecp again on 23rd Jan. her periods were expected to be on 3rd Feb. the pregnancy test is negative as well. also this is the first time she used any pill !! what do you suggest? (also my friend is going through an abusive marriage, would appreciate a supportive consultation). thank you.
She has to visit nearest gynarcologist who will examine her ,will advice few tests and will do counselling.
she is having hormonal disturbance

-Dear Ecps are hormonal Contraceptive pills those can interfere with Normal Periods and can delay or irregulate periods.
-as She has taken oral Contraceptive pills twice subsequently so it affected twice and gave some side Effects.

abberant use of ECP is never always fruitful...as she can end up in ectopic pregnancy...now aft taking ECP second time in a row tht two in one month possess its own side effects...she shud wait fr ninety six hours to hv withdrawal bleed...but even tht is nt conclusive fr ruling out pregnancy...she shud definitely do serum Bhcg for confirmation...is shes wants to defer her pregnancy fr a period of time she shud fo fr more reliable method of contraception rather then using ECP...
she must consult the gynaecogist for proper contraception if she doesn't want to conceive.
