AOA, My Baby is on Mother feed and I didn't get periods yet. My baby is about to turn 11 months.
is this normal or I should consult a doctor for this (not having periods yet)?
Salam When u r breastfeeding periods often donot come but u should visit a gynecologist for further guidance thanks
its normal ,there can be gestational amenorhea till 2 years if you are exclusively breast feeding your child
Thanks this is normal in 80% of breast feed mother don’t have periods if baby is totally on mother feeding you will have periods when you stop breastfeeding

- dear breast feeding can delay or even stops periods ,duration dffers in each individual due to body physiology and history .
- have complete treatment for any health issue u have .
-Balanced diet ,weight and Bmi .
- Daily walk ,yoga and Exercise .
- have one serum beta hcg ( blood Pregnancy test) to check pregnancy status if positive have folic acid and observe Symmotoms.
- start weaning for your child gradually if not started yet like banana ,rice ,fruits,fresh juices etc .
-if beta hcg reports negative can visit Gynae for further guidance .

its usual...but in case of un protected sex do ur BHCGlevels or pregnancy test on the safer side...consult ur OBG...
