My friend is a patient of severe pcos since last 5 years.She had complications in conceiving and had 2-3 miscarriages but Alhumdulillah she is a mother of 2 now. She had her 2nd baby 10months back and after that monthly cycle became better.But this month she started to bleed even when it wasn’t time, it continued for 2 weeks.She went to her gynaecologist and doctor asked to get an u/s done.In u/s, 6cm cyst was found in her right ovary. Which wasn't there 10 months ago when she had U/S done for baby. In 10 months, 6cm cyst made doctor worried. She asked about family history of cancers. Sadly, her grandmother had bloodcancer, and a first cousin of her father had breast cancer. Doctor prescribed Cefspan , onamed, primolut.N for 3 weeks. After that she is required to get an U/S done and if cyst persists, she is asked to get CA-125 done. Once she started her medicines,periods stopped but after 1 week,she started to have heavy periods. She is experiencing bodypain and little weakness with this. No nausea, vomiting or weightloss have been observed.
Next appointment with the doctor is in 2 weeks after getting tests done but please guide what this heavy flow might mean?

-Dear some important points still missing in history .
-Have complete treatment for any health issue she has .
-have balanced diet,weight and Bmi .
-daily walk ,yoga and Exercise .
-recreational activities and avoid recreational drugs .
-cbc,thyroid function test,other sex hormones need to be done also .
-As already she started medications on advice of another doctor so better to inform her as well regarding unscheduled bleed which started after medications .
-pregnancy status also need to be checked by having serum beta hcg (to exclude pregnancy ).
-local Examination also need to be done by Gynae specialist to exclude local pathology .
-follow all above and with Reports and detailed history .
