Assalamualaikum. I am patient of hypothyroidism. Did strip test for pregnancy today and it was positive. Its been 3 days since missed periods. Currently I am taking 75 mcg dose of thyronorm. My endocrinologist will be available on Tuesday. Please confirm how much dose should i increase for now.

- Dear thyroid issues can cause fertility issues , miscarriage ,congenital abnormality etc.
- thyroid should be balanced during pregnancy Especially Early Pregnancy .
- levels u have posted showing hypothyroid maximum Tsh should be 2.5 mU/ ml and yours level is High .
- Although in Pregnancy thyroid level do show fluctuation but it's better to have one Consultation with Endocrinologist even u can ask online if unable to catch yours doctor in coming days .
as I think dose can be increased a bit till 100 or 125 temporayily.
- u need regular antenatal thyroid levels ,antenatal scan and visit and combined care ( gyne / obs + Endocrinologist )
- have folic acid ,regular antenatal visits and scans .

And beta hcg is 416
