Hello Doctor, I need your guidance regarding my menstrual cycle and fertility. My menstrual cycle is usually irregular, around 31–39 days. In October, I got my period on 18th. After that, I conceived, but later I had bleeding on 30th November and was told it could be a miscarriage. Later, another doctor did a blood HCG test and ultrasound and said everything was normal and HCG was zero. Recently, my periods got delayed again and came naturally after about 49 days without taking any medicine. First there was brown discharge, then light pink bleeding, and now it seems like a normal period starting. I had multiple urine pregnancy tests during the delay; all were negative. I want to conceive and would like to know: Is this delay normal after hormonal imbalance or stress? When should I try for pregnancy again? Do I need any medicines or supplements to regulate my cycle and improve chances of pregnancy? My hemoglobin is 12.

Since I started trying, my period came once after 43 days, and the test was faint positive. Now periods after 50 days.
My ultrasound shows normal ovaries and uterus, so why am I not conceiving?
Can I safely start folic acid or any multivitamins now?
Please guide briefly. Thank you.

Yes you can start folic acid start some light exercise and yoga. This will have a positive effect on your body and menstural cycle
