Talk to Gynecologist on Induced Labor 38 Weeks
Asking For Self, Female, 20 Years old, rawalpindi
Hi. My bp is 150/100 after taking 250 mg aldomet 5 dozes a day. Dr increased it to 6 dozes a day now. Ultrasound is normal along with baby weight position s/d ratio etc etc. Babys head is not engaged at 37 weeks. Dr wants to induce labor through artificial pains at 38 weeks as everything is well but bp can shoot anytime. Kindly suggest a) what i should do to make babys head drop. B) if i should wait till 40 weeks. And c) what if babys head doesnt engage? Can i drink castor oil if babys head isnt dropping. ROA is current position of baby. Thanks
salaam. In PIH tab methyldopa 500mg 3 to 4 times dose BP not controlled then we have to add labetalol. for induction at 38 weeks we need to have urinary protiens and 38 weeks is a good time for i duction. baby oa head naturally engage ho may have walk. caster oil is not recommended.

No proteins in urine as of last week. Kindly suggest if next week tak head engage na hua to will dr do c section instead of inducing? Or i can be induced without head beinf engaged?
