Asslamoalikum i need some guidance related to induction at 38 weeks of pregnancy and induction docters wants to do because of gestational diabetes even though so far baby weight is fine position is fine Alhumdillah but because of my uncontrolled suger levels even though em trying my best with diet still suger comes high or too much low dealing with hypoglycemia at midnight em on insulin dosage ! And after breakfast lunch dinner suger level comes high just keep dropping at mid night so docters wants to induce me at 38 weeks so far em 37 weeks plus some days?so is induction safe also is it ends up with c section or not?? Also its my first pregnancy iam kind of afraid and worried because i dont want to have c section. Is it fine to do induction at 38 weeks of pregnancy?they said baby position is perfect but because of my suger is keep unbalance they said we dont want to take risk so they want me to induce at 38 week?

better go for induction as uncontrolled diabetes can lead to silent intrauterine deaths of baby

Salam . Since ur blood sugar levels r uncontrolled induction is the best option for delivery . Induction does not always lead to LSCS .if only some problem occurs which can also occur in normal labour process then to save u and the baby LSCS is done. Don’t worry . Have faith in Allah . Thanks don’t worry dr plan is right for induction of labour ar 38 wks due to uncontroll diabetics hopefully you will deliver vaginally if everything if fine during labor
Assalam o alikum. it's very good to do induction at 38 weeks in uncontrolled gestational diabetes ti avoid fetal complications. if fetal weight is average insha Allah you will achieve vaginal delivery. good luck

- Dear gestational diabetes is too hazardous for baby as compared to Mother .
- with uncontrolled diabetes baby can die in advanced pregnancy .....
kindly pay attention to your doctor's advice as baby's well being is very important.
- have strict diabetic diet .
- Strict control on Suger levels and have advised dose of insulin and other medications .
- induction is safe decision for baby .
