Talk to Gynecologist on Low AFI At 32 Week Pragnancy
Asking For Self, Female 29, islamabad
I am 32 weeks pregnant Alhamdulillah. In last ultrasound, AFI was 7.8 'cm . is it normal or less? I do not have other issues and all other tests including BP, Sugar, CBC are normal. baby position is Cephalic and longitudinal. Water intake is also fine. please suggest me what should I do?.

its low you need to take plenty of fluid and rescan after 15 days
take fluids...monitor BP and repeat usg

inform your attending gynaecologist...it is low...but u shud repeat your scan again for second opinion...should also do umbilical artery doppler with SD ratio...

AFI less than 8 is considered low.but if growth of the baby is ok.anomaly scan is ok.no need to worry.take plenty of water and milk and repeat ultrasound after 2 weeks
