Talk to Gynecologist on My Period Cycle

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 23 years old, austria

My last period: 24th December next period: 19th January.

Tomorrow i'm having my first ever gynecologist exam. I'll also get contraceptive pills. Now the problem is that im going to visit my boyfriend who's studying abroad in a few days on 11th January for two week. I really don't want to deal with my period cramps for a week on my vacation. So i'd like to ask if there's any chance to get my period sooner - before my trip, or to get delayed (for two weeks). Is that possible with contraceptive pills that id be able to start taking tomorrow - 14th January, or is it too late now? I know there are pills that are meant to delay your period (not contraceptive ones, they're not a protection against pregnancy) but with those you can only delay period for a week max.
