Hi .I wanted to track my ovulation as I want to conceive . Actually my previous 2 cycles were disturbed so I was tracking my ovulation this month. My cycle is of 25-26days . I was out of city during my periods couldn’t meet my husband on days leading to ovulation came back on 11th cycle day (1 day before ovulation ) . I went for TVS on day 10th my dominant follicle was 18 x 16mm so my gyne asked me to get IVF-C shot on 11th day (1day before ovulation) , so on on 11th day my dominant follicle was 19.4mm and took ivfc shot as well, came back the same day and met my husband .here I want to ask that can you get pregnant with one time sex ? If you had sex a day before ovulation ? And what is the probability of getting pregnant if you have sex a day after ovulation ?

there are chances to get pregnant if u have sex one day before or after ovulation day.
eggs can only live for no more than a day after ovulation, sperm can actually have a much longer life span. Healthy sperm may survive in your reproductive tract for up to 5 days.
In fact, having intercourse during the few days leading up to ovulation can help ensure the sperm is ready and waiting for the egg once ovulation occurs. You should start “trying” ideally up to 3 days before ovulation actually occurs.

3 days before ovulation: 27%
2 days before ovulation: 33%
1 day before ovulation: 41%
Day of ovulation: 20%
1 day post ovulation: 8%
