Talk to Gynecologist on Pcos-ovulation Tracking

Hi i’m married and have pcos and i need to keep track of my ovulation days that helps me to plan out things accordingly i know that ovulation tests & u/s are the only authentic way to keep track but cervical mucus helps too. So some cycles get really confusing for me I’d notice clear egg white CM on days 14-16 and yet once i got my period on the 42nd day usually if it happens around this time the period comes in 29,30-32 day max. However this cycle I didn’t notice clear CM until day 18 and then kept having it till day 24 so i knew that this cycle would be late which it is. Can any dr here pls guide me properly regarding all of this? I’ve spoken to many doctors and none literally discuss things in detail which is very frustrating!
