AoA, i am asking this query on behalf of my mrs, she is 37+3 days pregnant and her Dr. advice her for C-Section due to the fact that her placenta is low. my wife had USG a week ago and its mentioned in report that 'Placenta is anterior, its lower margin is 5cm above the internal os'. Dr said that placenta is very low and c-section is a must. Please guide us, is the c-section is necessary or otherwise its a normal delivery case,,,?
5 Cm away from internal is can be given a chance of normal delivery.

-placenta if present with in 2 cms away from internal os or covering os then it should be removed by cesearean section only and other measures also needed.
-but if it's away from os no symptoms then cesearean not for this reason.
