Asking For Self, Female 31, Dera Ghazi Khan
Its PPROM case. Seven days have been passed since PPROM occurred. Doppler USG (dated: 2/9/22) showed everything normal with Sluggish movement of baby and liquor less than 4 cm.
Medication after PPROM: 1. ERythrocine 500 mg (1+1) antibiotic 2. Oxidil IV injection. 1 g daily. 3. Protein supplements 4. PA-AMIN G, 500 ML drip once in two days. Despite this medication, I caught fever thrice in 7 days. Doctor said, plan delivery because fever is due to uterus infection. She says, it might happen to remove uterus in case of severe infection. (Its my first baby, I dont want uterus removal). Now, in recent 24 hours, I'm experiencing pain in lower part of uterus. And fever. Urination frequency also increased. What should I do? Should I go for delivery? Baby's survival chances outside the uterus? And mother's safety chance in case of not delivering before 34 weeks? Baby's age (according to last LMP: 21/2/22) is 27 weeks and 6 days. But ultrasound shows 26 weeks and 4 days. Baby's weight: 931
