Talk to Gynecologist on Pregnancy Related Issues

My wife who is 7-8 weeks pregnant, has digestion problem. If she eats anything, she would vomit after few minutes. She is restricted to liquids, biscuits, bread because of this. Her doctor prescribed medication but to no avail. She was fine before pregnancy started. Would any gynecologist be kind enough to comment, as to what might be the issue and how to approach it? This is her 2nd pregnancy after 6 years. During first pregnancy no such issues were observed.

She is now getting weak because of this.
