Unfortunately certain cases have repeat rupture membranes everytime and there is not much to avoid that. Only available treatment options are screening for vaginal infections in pregnancy, cervical cerclage and progestogen support. There is a percentage of cases where still preterm delivery occurs despite all treatments given. In majority of cases pregnancy progresses till 9 month with all these treatment.
