Talk to Gynecologist on Prolactin Values
Asking for Self, Female, 27 years old, Lahore
Please tag some gynecologist. My prolactin level was high in july.. my doc prescribed me brotin tablet twice a day for 15 days.. after a month it was 24 .. and doc again prescribed me for 15 days. And this month its higher then last month 29. I think this is the only reason I am struggling to conceive. My eggs are getting mature every month. My progesterone levels show ovulation occurrence, My husband's semen analysis are clear. Still I am not getting pregnant. And I think prolactin is the only reason behind it. Please tell me can I take brotin twice a day for whole month? Because my doc give to for 15 days and then she tell me to wait for 15 days without medicine and then get it tested. I want to take it for whole month so I can conceive easily .. Please comment if I can take it

Thanks prolactine is normal now according to value don’t worry i think no need to continue for one month you can repeat it again after a month on day two nd see normal or not

Salam u should continue tab brotin on e daily for 2 months then wait for 15 days and get ur prolactin checked . U should also get ultrasound done on 12 day of ur cycle

I was on clomid last month and I got my ultrasound done on day 12 and had two dominant follicles of 25mm and 23mm.. progesterone level was 25 on day 21.. but failed to conceive.

The follicle size is very good .continue with same treatment . U can take clomid in next cycle as well and continue with brotin as well

Progesterone level on day 21 was 25..

My doctor is monitoring my progesterone levels on day 21. and they are getting fine.. so my doc says you don't need ovulation induction medicines as your ovulation is naturally occurring .. So do I still need IVF-C injection?
As on day 13 I do feel ovulation pain

Dear, I suggest u to continue Brotin, take ovulation induction drug in next cycle with double dose, get ivf_c injection to make sure ovulation has occurred, monitor follicle size and it's rupture with ultrasound and serum progesterone level . Prolactin levels are high to conceive. Treatment needed. Further details need visit. Tc

but mostly doctors say it should be between 10-15ng/ml to conceive... Is it right ?
