I am currently 38wk 6days pregnant as per LMP and have Gestational Diabetes. My doctor has suggested me to have induction on 13th June, due to my glucose Level readings. I'm attaching those readings here. Have been taking Glucophage 500mg thrice a day.
I want to have second opinion regarding this, as my last ultrasound done at 36th week showed negative 2 weeks difference. Should I go for induction on 13th June?
It's my first pregnancy and after internal checkup doctor said I'm only 1 finger dilated.
delivery is indicated after 38 weeks with well controlled sugar levels to avoid mishap so you should go for it.
Your fasting blood sugars have progressively increased and as you are already 38+ weeks you should go for a induction.
plz follow ur drs advice.
I think your doctor is right in advising you induction as your Blood glucose levels are fluctuating
