Talk to Gynecologist on Sugar In Pregnancy
Asking For Self, Female, 29 Years old, lahore
Aoa, I’m 8 months pregnant. Dr has asked me to check my sugar levels before and after meal. I wanted to ask that If I had breakfast at 10 am but had tea around 10.30 so should I check sugar level at 11 am or 11.30 am. Like when I have taken tea as well, one hour after that?

u have to check ur sugar atleast 2 hours after meal .of ur taking tea at 10.30 than u have to check 2 hour from that time .

no need to worry do check your bld suger level at 11.30am
but if your doc want to check your fasting and 1 hrs post meal bld suger level to diagnosed strictly follow her advice
have you done your ogtt (oral glucose tolerance test)???

Yes Dr. i got it done at 24 weeks. All reports were normal. But I’m currently taking Glucophage as sugar level was increasing.
