Talk to Gynecologist on Tarry Stool
Asking for Self, Female, 23 years old, Lahore
Due to my irregular menstruation cycle my doctor asked me to take Chewcal tablet and Bisleri Tablet (for iron deficiency) for a month, 1 table daily I have started using these tablets the day before yesterday and since yesterday I'm having black tarry stool and today I have black tarry stool along with a red blood stain.
What's the reason behind this and should I stop taking this medicine and is it due to the tablet that I have used as I never have experienced this before.
This problem caused today after 2 today's of using these above mentioned tablets.

No my hb is not low, just due to the irregularity of periods my gynaecologist asked me to take Biselri and Chewcal tablets once daily for a month.
After taking iron tablet for how many days the stool remains black. As i have stopped it from 2 days and i had light stains of black stool today as well.
Or is it due to Gastro esophageal reflux disease?
And which medicine should i use to treat gerd
