Talk to Internal Medicine on Back Pain And Bell’s Palsy

Assalamualaikum Doctor,
My mother has been a diabetic patient for the past 7 years and is on regular medication. Along with that, she takes Ultrafosin once a month as per previous doctor’s advice.
Last week, she had an episode of gastric discomfort and headache (which happens often). She took Ultrafosin and a few hours later Citro Soda. The next day, she developed severe headache, back pain (below the shoulders on both sides), and continuous vomiting. This condition lasted for about 2–3 days.
After some treatment, the vomiting stopped, and she was able to start eating lightly — but the back pain increased gradually, and she began feeling nauseous and weak. On the third day, when vomiting subsided, she also developed Bell’s palsy (facial weakness).
Since then, she has been consulted by multiple specialists including neurologist, gastroenterologist, medical and orthopedic doctor. She was also admitted to the hospital for a few days, but despite all efforts, there has been no clear di
