Talk to Internal Medicine on Fever From Last 20 Days (99F To 100F)
Asking For Father, Male 77, Lahore
My father aged 77 years old (history of 35 years Diabitic and 3 years old diarrhea). Presently, he has been suffering with fever (99F to 100F)/weakness/diarrhea from last 20 days. Ciprofloxacin 500mg x 2 (5 days) and Azomax 500mg x 2 (7 days) with Panadol used but fever and weakness still persistent. His reports are attached. Plz help.

Looks like, Enteric Fever, I advise change to Moxifloxacin 400mg daily along with Flagyl 400mg TID. Also CT Abdomen and Pelvis to assess for Abscess.
