Asking for Mother, Female, 52 years old, Sahiwal
My mother has been taking Co-Vmed 10/160/12.5mg for the past 4 years and her blood pressure has remained normal and now she doesn't need to take it every day. She skips it for a day and takes it, but with that, red spots start forming on her arms, and they are in a very small area. And along with that, she has been using Novoteph 40 mg for the past 1 year. And now I don't know which medicine is causing these reactions. And these red spots were first dark brown and then red and gradually faded away. Earlier, the reactions were only on one arm And now it happened on the other arm too. Apart from this, she has also tried taking Onato 5 mg and Tenormin 50 mg but it makes no difference at all.
stop onato
Do some labs CBC, PT,PTT,INR, LFT, RFT, CRP
About the spots, blanching or not, check it with transparent glass
any bleed hx, dizziness, Weakness
Please book appointment .Thanks
You can monitor her blood pressure and gradually decrease BP medication and get a CBC. Long term novoteph is also not indicated
