Assalamulaekum doc ,I am asking on behalf of my mother ,she has diagnosed with high blood pressure since her twenties and now that she is 55 ,for past 10 years almost ,she has been loosing weight drastically (she has leukorrea also ) apart from this we have had tests like CBC ,thyroid ,diabetes but all are normal ,she takes stress but her headache never goes even when she is not taking stress,also now a days she is having nausea and cough only in morning ,I am so concerned about her drastic weakness and pain in body all the pain specially headache (she is taking only Telarb and surbex Z ) can she take vit k2 supplements ?or any other multivatimains safe to use with high bp medication ? You have not mentioned how high is her blood pressure. How long she has been taking Telarb? Headaches and weight loss are side effects of this medicine. If she is taking Telarb regularly and blood pressure is controlled then she needs some stress reducing meds like Effexor75 mg. Take half tablet (1/2 tab) at night for 1-2 wks. Let us know how is her stress level in that week. She should take plenty of good and water. If blood pressure is high then Telarb is not controlling her blood pressure and need additional medicine.
