Talk to Internal Medicine on High Diabetes And High Cholesterol

I have experienced a weight loss of 8 kg within a month and have been feeling pain in my stomach. Initially, I thought this was due to gastric issues, but I also experienced the same pain in my left back below the ribs, feeling like something inside was squeezing. So, I got tested and found that my HbA1C is 13.4, cholesterol is 840, and Gamma GT is 100. For clarity, I got retested today at a well-reputed laboratory, and my HbA1C is now 12.8. I believe this all started after I had a fever and viral infection from Chikungunya, after which I also felt severe pain in my legs. Please advise whether this is due to the malfunctioning of any organ or if this is a permanent condition of diabetes and high cholesterol.
