Hypertension

Question

hi.
my father is suffering from prolonged hypertension and all reports LFT ,RFT,CBC blood profile are in the normal range , recently Hba1c is done and it\'s 151.
He usually repeats tests after every 3-4 months but all is good Alhamdullilah .
But current from month his blood pressure is not controlling although taking tab.zodip OD and recently switch to tab.xtrore on cardio advice.
He feels sleepy throughout the day and dizzy when trying to walk.
What could be a possible diagnosis and what else should we add in his diet and medicine so it feels better to him.
Monitoring BP regularly with digital apparatus but it\'s still so high not even stabilizing with medicine\'s.

What are blood pressure readings both systolic and diastolic

monitor blood pressure readings in the morning and evening for 5 days.
also keep an eye on heart rate. Is there any change in heart rate or irregularities in heart rate?.
are there any symptoms like shortness of breath, palpation , pressure on the head, low mood, and aggression?
have you done his ECG, ECHO?
For better management, patient BP monitoring, postural drop, and investigation like ECG and echo is mutton look gorgeous the cause of dizziness and further management accordingly.

Feeling sleepy and dizzy throughout the day could be due to low or high blood sugars, low or high BP, electrolyte imbalance, thyroid issue, obstructive sleep apnea, uncontrolled cardiac issue etc Keep on monitoring the BP in both sitting and 2 minutes standing positions and make a record. With this record get your father get physically checked in person by a medical specialist. He might need further tests as well.
