Aap ki walida 10 saal se Sertraline 50mg aur Risék 40mg (Omeprazole) le rahi hain. In medicines ko achanak band karna theek nahi hota, warna tabiyat aur kharab ho sakti hai. Lekin jo gas, kamzori, khana hazam na hona aur health ka dheere dheere down hona hai, yeh normal nahi hai. Long-term Omeprazole se vitamin deficiency ho sakti hai aur Sertraline ka dose bhi dobara assess karna zaroori hai. Unko ek Physician (Medicine specialist) aur phir Psychiatrist ko dikhana chahiye taake proper tests ho sakein aur medicines review ho sakein.

As far as Tab.Sertraline is concerned it is prescribed for depression (antidepressant medication) and Cap.Risk is for Gastritis/acidity etc. Kindly consult with Psychiatrist and he will assess her depression symptoms if her depression symptoms have stabilized or she still needs it.The dose of Sertraline can be slowly tapered off IF her depression symptoms have stabilized . Regarding Cap.Risk it should not be taken for long time. She can take over the counter Antacid suspensions or syrup temporarily off and on . For Stomach and other health issues she can visit internal medicine specialists for details history and work up.
