Asking for Mother, Female, 60 years old, Peshawar
My mother is diabetic since 1995. She is on insulin since 2003. She feels burning sensation in legs during summer. Green marks appeared on her legs ,she is too worried. Her dr prescribed gablin 50mg but not working on her..Kindly help her .
Give her tab lacolep 50 mg subha sham
please increase the dose of gablin to 100mg n add tab neuromax 1000mcg daily.

thank u for reply. yes dr also said increase the doze but she said there is too much sleep in gablin and i cant wake up .but we will give the prescribed doze..thank u once again

Thanks for sharing ur concern. Does she have this burning at night ? pain also ? does she have restlessness? feels like moving the legs again and again at night, gets better after walking ? Any pain and burning in hands also ? excessive ruination at night ? Blood sugar controlled or not ? Any recent blood tests ? Kindly answer these. She needs specific medication for her problem and she will get better in a few days.

Thank u for reply...yes she feels burning at night and day also no pain just burning in legs and feet.Sugar is control yesterday was 161 random.Yes she moves feet at night legs become heavy disturb while sleeping. no urination at night.Yes v did tests few days before i will share here. v showed to dr all were normal.

Thanks for the reply. kindly share her reports. Don’t give any medication without blood tests to confirm the cause of this restlessness as it will be a waste of ur time and money.

Thanks for ur effort in posting the report. In reports she has Iron deficiency anemia which can be a cause of her restlessness. Give her tab Ibret folic once daily after breakfast for 2 months. In addition to IDA there are some changes in her kidneys which need to be evaluated further with history and blood tests. It's happen in diabetic patients bcoz of neuropathy, first make sure her diabetes in good control, check RBS FBS and HbA1c. Then back to me. For now increase dose of Gablin 100mg and start Inj.Neurobian im/iv every alternate day. 5injections.

Thank for reply. V did these tests few days before on dr prescription all were normal.yes dr said increase doze of gablin but she said there is too much sleep in these tablets and i cant wake up .

But Do Not worry every Disease have Cured.You Mother should do at least 20 Mints walk daily Morning walk is best.also, use insulin .you did not mention her weight. change lifestyle and give healthy meals.
