Talk to Internal Medicine on Pain In Knees

Last week, I played cricket with friends after 5 years. played a bit longer for 3 hours. after that muscles got cramped from neck to the lega two days ago pain started in my knees without any cause i.e. any injury or any hitting. I am not able to sleep at night because of pain. It is okay while I am walking or sitting. but it stats to pain when I lay on bed. The sides of the knees where ligaments are present they hurt a lot. I have applied Voltral Gel, and even took pain killer butvin vain. kindly guide me. should I consult any orthopedic doctor? Thanks.

I am sorry to hear about our problem. It looks like that there is an element of sprain as well as cramps in the muscles
If you don’t have any past problem with the ligaments or the muscles you can just have
Tablet Nuberol forte twice a day
Apply Voltral gel thrice a day
It will be for another couple of days. I don’t think so that you need to consult an orthopaedic surgeon at this stage.

Thank you. I am already taking Nuberol Forte and applying voltral gel but it was of no use. Today I took Genox tablet and I am now feeling well. Havn't taken any nuberola and havnt applied any voltral.

Usually when one does some exercise after a while muscle and joint aches do happen, drink loads of water, as long as you don’t have any swelling in the knee joints and they are not stiff, you should recover, give it a week or so, though u should continue with mild to moderate exercise and keep up with you hydration
