Talk to Internal Medicine on Sinusitis And Hypertrophoid Nasal Turbinate
Asking for Self, Female, 21 years old, Lahore
I have sinusitis and Allergy issues from many years I visited to many doctors and use different medicines if I have been used alot of anti-allergy medicine as well as anti-biotics but if I use these medicines constantly then sinusitis pain including facial pain and headaches etc decreased for sometime or somedays only. I went for x ray and it shows left maxillary and frontal sinuses hazy and hypetrophoid nasal turbinate Also whenever I put my head down I feel pressure on head and face Kindly suggest what to do...........

Do inhalation with menthol crystal for 5 minutes, twice daily regularly tab calamox 625 mg tds for 7 days and tab kestine 10mg for 10 days at night

You need a proper online or in-person consultation. Anti-allergics are widely prescribed but are useless in controlling the underlying cause. Xray paranasal sinuses is not the ideal investigation for sinusitis.
You need to be continuously on any antihistamine. Also, avoid using steroid inhalers nasally. It’s good idea to see an ENT specialist.
Haziness of parenasal sinuses indicates chronic sinusitis,thus needs proper follow up. Secondly hypertrophic turbinate needs ENT evaluation.
