Talk to Internal Medicine on Splenomegaly And Moderate Hepatomegaly

A.o.a I attached my mother ultrasound Report. I recently found that she had splenomegaly and moderate hepatomegaly and she is suffering from low platelets from the past Two years But 6 months ago I did ultrasound and that was normal after that doctor prescribed Delish powder to increase Platelets count.Contiunously using that powder for 3 months there is no change in her platelets as I had already told the doctor that my mother can't bear medicine with powerful elements like ensure powder and delish etc...but he still prescribed and now I did ultrasound and the result is Infront of u...Question is that is that powder harmed my mother ?

basically delish powder is a supplement and have no effect on spleen.. but here is need to treat the spleen.. patient has larger size of spleen which destroying the platelets. need is to treat the spleen .. in homeopathy we have some medicine which increase the platelets level .. after regular 15 to 30 days use of regular medicine we repeat cbc test which shows that medicine is working or not
No. Powder is general tonic. It neither helps in improving platelets number nor it produces hepatitis- splenomegaly.

Get HBsAg, antiHCV antibodies done. Also get peripheral blood film and CBC. Cause needs to be evaluated. Show to medical specialist or gastroenterologist.
It is inconclusive. Need to do further workup including LFTs, CBC with peripheral smear, HbsAg and Anti HCV.

The medicine used by your mother probably did not cause liver enlargement . The reason for her low platelets and enlarged spleen was never investigated properly and now it has caused enlarged liver as well .
In person consultation and proper investigation and then proper treatment in light of reports is needed . Ensure and delish is actually NO treatment
